Without being able to see the standing wolfs tail, its difficult to say,but I would say that by his stiff legged, arched neck and back posture and both of their mouths being closed tight, love is not exactly what Im seeing. The wolf on the ground is being submissive, but not all that afraid, but it looks as though they are simply establishing ones alpha over the omega.

Wicked on the right is my dog and Andor on the left I walk 3 or 4 times a week. Most of the times this is playing, sometimes Andor is playing to rough and that is when Wicked says NO! If Wicked does not like playing anymore the play session is over. All dogs do respect him a lot. I did not need to interrupt.

I didn't interrupt this. Maybe I should cause of the size difference but they had fun. Donna the Frenchie like to jump up on Chief. Finaly Chief responded and they had some fun for half a minute. Chief went to some other dog after this and Donna was left alne again, waiting for the next big dog to attack. Serious. I have never seen her play with a dog her own size. Most ig dogs do not respond on her. Like she doesn't even exist. I am happy with moments like this.
