Hmm…I’m not sure which one is Chief and which one is Andor, so I’ll skip names. From the dog on the left, I see: soft eyes, opened mouth, relaxed tongue, paw raised (possibly a product of forward movement), weight very centered (maybe leaning a little toward the other dog, or just slightly forward), ears up, slightly raised tail that looks like it may be wagging. It looks to me like a friendly attempt at interaction, maybe the precursors to a play invitation. There’s something in the ears and eyes that make me suspect an attempt to mount might be coming, but I can’t put my finger on what it is that makes me see that. Overall, I would probably describe this dog as looking confident and friendly.
In the dog on the right, I see: slightly tense lips, maybe panting, soft eyes, head and eyes averted, paw raised (possibly a product of sideways movement), turning away from the other dog with a curving motion. He’s offering several behaviors that I would consider to be distance increasing, but I don’t see any major signs of anxiety. I wonder if these dogs have just begun to interact, and the dog on the left came on a bit too strongly. It is also possible that they have been interacting for some time, but now the dog on the right is ready for a break and the dog on the left would like to continue the interaction.

the dog on the right does not look-like a GSD - he looks like a Malinois x Rhodie, the drop-forward ears, slick-to-the-body coat, lots of sable tipping + ticking. i WISH that his tail were visible - the presence or absence of a brush-tail would be definitive.
the Terv is posturing - chest-out, head bridled toward his chest, poll elevated - both dogs are tense, with slot-like mouths + tongues retracetd behind incisors.
i would describe the Rhodie-mix as being slightly intimidated, head is down, look-away, his near-ear is lifted to listen to the other dog’s breathing, there’s a worried look above his eyes + his brows are raised.
the whisker-pad on the side of the face we can see, is also flexed -
his wt is on his right-legs, and he’s about to turn + present right-rear-quarter on to the Terv.
